Blake and Derrick’s wedding day at Homewood in Asheville was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and joyful celebration. Nestled in the heart of Asheville, Homewood provided a romantic, historic backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony and lively reception. As a wedding photographer, it was a dream setting — classic architecture and so many genuine moments between these two.

From the very beginning, their day was beautifully designed and flawlessly executed by the incredible team at Carolina Love Events. Every detail felt intentional and personal to Blake and Derrick.

The floral design by All the Pretty Flowers transformed the space into a romantic garden-inspired setting, adding softness and texture to Homewood’s timeless interior. Their ceremony music, performed by Appalachian String Duo, created an intimate, emotional atmosphere as guests gathered to witness Blake and Derrick say their vows.

Blake and Derrick both wore custom suits from Indochino, which fit them perfectly and reflected their individual styles while complementing each other beautifully. Their rings from David Yurman were a classic and meaningful finishing touch — simple, elegant, and timeless. They asked their guests to dress in 20’s attire which was amazing and made for some fun pictures.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails courtesy of Asheville Beverage before heading into a reception filled with incredible food from Black Eyed Susan Catering and stunning desserts from Old Europe. Every detail — from their beautiful stationery suite by Minted to the perfectly curated reception design — photographed so beautifully.

Once the dance floor opened, Blaze the City absolutely brought the energy. The celebration was electric, filled with laughter, hugs, and the kind of dance floor moments that make wedding photography so much fun to capture.
