Mountain Wedding - Julie + Elliot
“We have all come here to celebrate with you and rejoice in the loving spirit which you create when you are together. We hope that in your home there will be plenty of peace, joy and much courage…” the officiant said at the beginning of Julie an Elliot’s wedding ceremony. Julie and Elliot’s wedding was so full of life, love, and laughter and we loved being able to capture each moment as their wedding videographer.
Their outdoor wedding at The Vineyard at 37 High Holly included beautiful weather, sweet details about Julie and Elliot’s love story, and dancing. Elliot proved to be one of the most enthusiastic grooms as he danced his way to the altar at the beginning of the ceremony! Their vows were so personal including Julie noting Elliot’s boundless enthusiasm and vowing to treasure every moment they have together. Elliot surprisingly included a bit of Morse code in his vows and promised to be Julie’s rock as she is his rock.
Near the end of Julie and Elliot’s wedding ceremony, their officiant read from the couple’s Jewish marriage contract, the Ketubah. It read, “I will honor you, adore you, respect you, and protect you in the spirit of the generations before us but with a fierceness and sincerity that is unique and reverent to our love and the union in which we are entering.” Before Julie and Elliot walked (or actually danced) down the aisle as husband and wife, Elliot stomped and smashed a glass in typical Jewish fashion.
Bombshell Creations GA made the ladies look fabulous by styling their hair and makeup. Oakleaf Style adorned Julie and Elliot’s wedding with floral arrangements. Wedding planning was directed by I Do Events. The couple’s wedding photographer was Kayla Coleman Photography.
Like several other of the couple’s wedding vendors, Sun in my Belly traveled from Georgia to the mountains of Western NC to cater the reception with an amazing meal. During the reception, we enjoyed so much catching Julie and Elliot’s special wedding dance on video! Music for the evening was played by DJ Ever. Guests definitely enjoyed themselves while dancing and celebrating into the night.
