Summer Wedding at Nantahala Weddings and Events

Caitlin and Mark’s wedding day at Nantahala Weddings and Events was the perfect mix of sweet, heartfelt, and uniquely them. From the very beginning, it was obvious how kind and genuine they both are — the kind of couple that makes documenting their day such a joy. It was an honor to capture their photos and video for the day!

Their ceremony overlooking the mountains was intimate and full of emotion. Every glance and quiet smile between them said more than words ever could. The florals by Andrews Florist added the perfect touch of color and romance to the setting, complementing the natural beauty of Nantahala so effortlessly.

One of our favorite parts of the day was sneaking away to the nearby waterfall for portraits. The sound of rushing water, the soft mountain light, and the peaceful setting created such a romantic backdrop. Those photos feel adventurous and timeless all at once — a beautiful contrast to the mountain views at the venue.

And then there was the surprise. Caitlin completely wowed Mark by renting a special car for the day — and as a total car enthusiast, he was beyond excited. His reaction was priceless and made for some of the most genuine, joy-filled images of the entire wedding. It was such a thoughtful way for Caitlin to honor something he loves, and it made their day feel even more personal.

Guests enjoyed delicious catering by Tracey Passmore and a beautiful cake by Sally White, rounding out a celebration that felt warm and inviting from start to finish.
